Handmade, copper enamelled necklace with shaped like an abstract leaf or coral. Front is enamelled in white with speckles of blue, purple and yellow. Back is pure copper stamped with plants. Every enamelled piece is completely one of a kind! Small imperfections give the piece character and handcrafted charm.

Process:
This piece is sawn out of copper sheet by hand. The piece is filed, drilled and sanded. I then sift a fine powdery glass substance called enamel onto the surface. It is fired at a very high temperature in a kiln. Layer by layer the enamel melts and fuses to the the copper. I use a small enamelling kiln which my Grandma used for copper enamelling in the 70s. Every enamelled piece is one of a kind!
