DATES & HOURS
September 11 2021 (it is two days, but I will only be there on Saturday)
12 p.m. to 7 p.m. each day
RAIN OR SHINE
Strathearn Art Walk is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain, we advise ponchos, boots, umbrellas and rubber duckies. In the event of sunshine, we advise sunglasses, sunscreen, shorts and pink flamingos.
ALL AGES
The Strathearn Art Walk is 100% child-friendly.
GETTING TO THE STRATHEARN ART WALK
Check back soon for transportation information! But we can say there will be a FREE Bike Lock-Up on-site once again in 2021, but no Park and Ride option.
ARE THERE WASHROOMS?
Yes, and no. For 2021 washrooms will be available only for volunteers and artists/vendors. There will be NO public washrooms on-site. But there will be plenty of hand sanitizer stations around the site, if you’re in need of some clean hands.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Absolutely! The Strathearn Art Walk is a dog-friendly event. We just ask that you keep your four-legged friends on leash.
IS THERE AN ATM ON-SITE? / HOW DO I PAY FOR THE WICKED PIECES OF ART?
For 2021, there will NOT be an ATM on-site. Most artists/vendors will accept major Credit and Debit cards or other forms of contactless payment (apple pay, etc.). However, we can not guarantee they all will. Please plan ahead to bring cash if needed.
I LOST SOMETHING, WAS IT FOUND?
If you lose something at the event, please check out our Information Tent, that will be conveniently advertised and marked on-site, and on the site map, once available. If you realize you’re missing something after you’ve left, email us at info@strathearnartwalk.com with as much information as you can provide and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
FOOD & DRINK
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, we are not NOT planning an on-site beer gardens or food truck court in 2021.
MUSIC
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, we are NOT planning on having live music in 2021.
SAFETY AND MEDICAL
We are continuously working with AHS and the City of Edmonton to ensure we provide a safe and inclusive environment for all artists/vendors and visitors. There will be several First Aid Volunteers around the site who will be easily identifiable with First Aid lanyards. Please don’t hesitate to grab one of them if needed, or just say hello if you have a question. Please make your way to the Information Tent if you can’t find someone.
Additionally, if you see anyone at the event who appears to require medical assistance, please inform either a First Aid Volunteer, or any volunteer you see in Art Walk gear. We are all in this together, so please look out for one another!
For 2021, free masks will be available for anyone requiring one. As well as multiple hand sanitizing stations throughout the site. Keep those hands clean! See, told you we’re very pro-clean hands :)
