Handmadecolourful copper enamel dish for rings or small objects. The front is enamelled in colourful enamel powder. The back is pure uncoated copper. Every enamelled piece is completely one of a kind! Small imperfections give the piece character and handcrafted charm.

Process:
This piece is sawn out of copper sheet by hand. The piece is filed, drilled, shaped and sanded. I then sift a fine powdered glass substance called enamel onto the surface. It is slowly fired at a very high temperature layer by layer to melt and fuse the coloured glass to the copper. I use a small enamelling kiln which my Grandma used for copper enamelling in the 70s. Every enamelled piece is one of a kind!
